Happy Hump Day Friends!!!

If you have been following for awhile, you know that we recently just bought a house. We have now been there for 3 months and I am still no where close to having everything decorated or even organized. I honestly don’t think there is ONE room that is completely and totally finished, at least the way I want it to be. We have a four bedroom, two bathroom home that has a playroom and a study. Obviously the main rooms, our living room & kitchen, is where we spend most of the time and they are not totally decorated yet.

Today, I’ve compiled a little “wish list” or inspiration as I like to call it of photos that I’ve had my eyes on and that represent the look I’m going for! Most of these are from Pinterest for reference.  For now, I hope you enjoy this little bit of decor inspiration I’ve compiled. I’d definitely love to do a post in the future showing you all how the rooms turns out when it’s finished!

Remember, this is all just inspiration for me to get some ideas on what I want to do. I know not everything will look so elegant and perfect like all of these and it will take some time to get everything the way we want it. Work in progress!!!!

  2. I love the Mexicana themes you have going on! So bright and fun! And I am a huge fan of tin signs in the kids rooms. So easy to hang and they don’t come off the wall if someone bumps into it. I did a bunch of old tin TOPPS signs in my son’s nursery.

    You can probably find a lot of the stuff to get these things started at IKEA. I always buy frames there for my gallery wall and they have the best storage solutions. Plus they are so inexpensive! (Now I need to go to IKEA…that place sucks me in!)

  7. I LOVE Pinterest! This is such a great and beautiful wish list. The colors and cozy feeling from them will make a gorgeous home!! Enjoy the process, I myself have been struggling with the “everything needs to be done NOW” feeling! Just take a room at a time and have fun with it!! 🙂
