Military Vest & Stripes

 

 

Happy Friday Loves!

If I could pick one outfit this summer that I love the most it would be this one. For the longest time I’ve been obsessed with military vests and the army green color in general.

I love that you can mix army green with brown, black or both. I also love pairing it with stripes. This outfit really feels like me, and I could literally wear it or some rendition of it everyday. This military vest is actually from Target. I have been eyeing these vests for awhile and found this one on a “milk” trip to Target. Of course I browse the Women’s section any chance I get.

I think a military vest is definitely a closet staple. It can be worn through all four seasons; in the winter with a sweater and in the summer with a LWD or a pair of cut-offs! This one is reasonably priced at only $30 if you’re looking to add one to your closet! I loved it paired with this black and white striped dress because it gave the outfit a little “more!” And striped dresses are my summer obsession. I layer them up over swim suits for the beach or pool or under cardigans, vests, jackets, leather jackets and scarves depending on my mood and the weather.  And of course – they are just as fun to wear on their own as well.
