“Get-to-know-me” Beauty Tag

Happy hump-day friends!!!! Or as I like to call it “Wine Wednesday”

I have seen this tag/post from so many bloggers that I decided to do a “get-to-know-me” post since it has been awhile. So here is my fashion/beauty side in a nutshell 🙂

1. What is your natural hair color?
   • Dirty blonde – I get highlights every 3-4 months (at least I try to)
2. How often do you wash your hair?
   • Depends how cute I want to get the next day. I wash it at night and let it air dry but I wake up looking like a mop.
3. Do you wear the same style every day or change it?
   • My hair is naturally pretty wavy so its either going up in a messy bun or I have to curl it with a wand. If I wake up in a good mood or there are meetings at work, I will curl it to make myself look presentable. It takes about 20 minutes to straighten it so that is more of a weekend look.
4. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to the salon?
   • I LOVE nail polish so I am usually doing my own to try out different colors but I will go to the salon for special occasions.
5. How long does it take you do your makeup?
   • 15-20 minutes depending on the status of my son in the mornings… If hes in a good mood then I have no distractions but if hes a screaming animal then its a longer process
6. Do you “collect” makeup or just buy it when you need it?
   • Both. I love seeing makeup reviews and posts from other bloggers of their favorites so I will sometimes go buy them to try out. I am a believer that you can never have too much makeup!
7. How often do wear false lashes?
   • Never! There are so many mascaras now that add length and volume to your lashes. I dread putting the fake ones on and getting the clue everywhere 🙂
8. Will you leave the house without make up on?
   • Totally… you gotta give your face a break!
9. Do you wear makeup when you are home/alone with family?
   • I usually do the makeup routine if I am going somewhere with people I know or to work. If we are just hanging out at home I am makeup free.
10. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you get up?
    • Depends on the weather or the mood I wake up in… If its freezing outside I am pretty much covered head to toe. My outfits are mostly based around my shoes… And they are usually leopard print of some kind 🙂
11. How often do you change your handbag?
    • I wish I could afford to change it weekly/monthly but I do have some good quality handbags that last me awhile.
12. How tall are you?
    • 5’4”
13. Do you speak a foreign language?
    • Uhhhhh I am embarrased to say no… I know like 3 spanish words and thats sad since my husband is hispanic but I do have 8 years of sign language from school 🙂
14. Do you read the comments on your posts?
    • Absolutely and I always reply back.
15. Do you keep a list of products to try as you read other blogs?
    • Oh totally!! I love seeing what other bloggers use and what else is out there. There are tons of skincare and makeup products out there that it is hard to know what to use. Not everything works for me and that is ok but reading new tips or new product reviews is helps me learn what works.
16. How did you come up with your blog name?
    • I love everything glitz and sparkle!!! I would see so many creative names on Instagram or Bloglovin that I just thought of it… and no one else had the name so I was YAAASSS!!!
17. What kind of camera do you use for your pictures?
    • Iphone (I am not a photographer but would love a nice camera one day)
18. What is your favorite color?
    • Teal
19. What do you love most about winter?
    • Sweater weather, cuddling by the fire, comfort food and perfect running weather!
20. What’s one product you’re really wanting to try?
    • EVERYTHING!!!!!! I love new recommendations or products that people are passionate about… Leave your feedback if there is a product you really think I should try 🙂
