Holiday Break Recap/Christmas Decor & SANTA!!

Hello December

We are officially in the BEST MONTH EVER…. DECEMBER!!!!! Christmas, Birthdays, Holiday parties, FOOD, Shopping, Cold Weather, Christmas Decorations & SANTA! Sorry for the all caps and numerous exclamations but I literally am obsessed with Christmas! I do love me some Thanksgiving and stuffing my face with super unhealthy food but everything about Christmas just makes me love life.

My favorite picture from Thanksgiving this year has to be my dog waiting for my parents to arrive… lol

I hope you all got lots of goodies for Black Friday. We sure did…. We started about 7 pm on Thursday to let all of the “crazies” clear out and get their goodies. Yes I am a crazy too but I can not stand in line for a $100 tv lol – Now maybe if it was a $100 Louis Vuitton or FREE Kendra Scott 🙂 We did find lots of good deals and cleaned up at Toys R Us…..

Being home with a 3 (almost 4 year old) for 5 days has its moments and you can only keep them inside so long. It rained the ENTIRE break which was no fun for either of us. Finally on Friday, the rain let up a little so we took advantage of some park time. And he didn’t wanna leave…. lol

Then the clouds came rolling back in and the rain didn’t stop until Sunday afternoon. It was a wet holiday break… BUT that gave me more time to decorate the house and put up the tree for Christmas. It was time!!!! I blared Christmas music throughout the whole house, poured me a fancy drink and got to work.

I think it took me an hour just putting the tree together – then I needed another drink by that time!!

Yay!!! Our tree is finally is ready for presents!! 🙂

Our dining room is all set and ready for Santa!!

Since I was on a roll… I went ahead and completed the whole fireplace mantle! Obsessed with these signs I got from The Sister Studio on Etsy. They were super easy to print off and I put them in frames I already had. I got the “MERRY” sign from Michaels which if you have not been yet you NEED TO GO!!!

And now the only thing we had left to do was visit the jolly man himself….. SANTA!!!!!!!

Another year, another SMILE!!!! He was a little more nervous than usual this year but he wont stop talking about seeing SANTA! Lets hope he remembers that 🙂

What are some of your favorite things to do for Christmas? I would love to see your decorations and fun Christmas decor!

Brittany 🙂
